We walk you through step by step how we convert a boring page to something beautiful that actually converts. This is something you can ethically steal to improve your funnels as well.

As you can see below, it's a very simple design using only clear colors and without gradients or other effects. Branding is way to big, hero image is taking too much focus and so on.
The page doesn't offer much personality and probably wont make you stand out much from your competitors.

Comparing these two examples, you can imagine which one makes you wanna stay at the page longer and that's why we will show you below how to achieve a design like this yourself.
Mastering these hacks give you a big advantage and opportunity to visits clients boring website and funnels and offer them something outstanding instead. This way you don't have to do the same cold calling or trying to explain, instead show them the difference.

Step 1: Logo
The logo is way too big in the first example. It takes away focus from the main page. I'm also adding spacing to the elements to make sure they don't come to close to each other and cause a mess.
Step 2: Customs Font
Using CSS to add customs fonts in ClickFunnels allows you to get the extra touch on your page that you always wanna strive for. CSS-codes for fonts are easily found online and can be edited for text, button and headline fonts. Watch the video for more details.
Step 3: Font Sizes
Next step we are editing the font sizes on our elements. By choosing different font sizes we can choose what we want the visitor to look at first, second, third and so on.
This is important to give the reader a understand of what we have to offer and then start selling them as they go through the page.
Step 4: Spacing
For the design to be perfect you might need to add spacing under or above elements to make sure it gives a nice flow through your page. Having too little spacing makes the page messy and hard for the visitor to get anything out of it. It's easy to play around with the spacing to finally find the right one.
Step 5: Mobile Optimization
ClickFunnels is building the mobile version for you as you build your funnel in desktop. The elements are added automatically and most of the design is quite okay in the mobile version without editing.
The things you usually has to change is the spacing and font size. If the font size varies too much between mobile and desktop, you can duplicate the text element in mobile and hide the original one from desktop, that way you have two different fonts on your texts inside desktop and mobile view. This applies to hero image and other elements as well.
Step 6: Font Color
Make sure to get your colors right. Don't use too many colors and keep them consistent. To really focus on your keywords you can make them stand out by having a different color in the middle of the sentence. This is easily done by highlighting the keywords and changing the color.
Step 7: Customized background
Add a customized background for your page. Customized backgrounds can be added by using your own pictures but can also be created with software like Figma and exported to Clickfunnels. Easy hack to really lift your page.
Make sure to compress the image before inserting to ClickFunnels or your own funnel editor.
Step 8: Image positioning and optimizing
Make sure to set your image position to Fill 100% width to avoid the image to be compressed. Compress your images to improve the page loading speed.
Step 9: Custom Hero Image
To improve the overall feeling of the page we wanna edit the Hero Image. It's the first thing the visitors will see and therefore we wanna put extra effort to make it stand out.
For this example we are gonna remove the image background since it takes away focus from the other elements and sometimes the background on the hero image doesn't align with your brand colors or just the site in general.
There are many tools for removing backgrounds from images, we usually use Clippingmagic since it's quick and the results are good.
Inside Clippingmagic you can easily add shadows to the image to lift it from the page, especially for hero images.
Once background is removed, before you export it to ClickFunnels make sure you crop the image around the object to make it easy to get the spacing right once optimizing in ClickFunnels. Make sure to use PNG-format to avoid getting a non-transparent image.
Step 10: Custom Buttons
Once we've done step 1 - 9, we've introduced new colors and design to the page and to make the buttons align with the page design we need to change colors and shadows.
If you are new to ClickFunnels, you can go the easy way and use Choose color to find your color code, copy the code and then go into CSS and paste it on every button-row and it'll update the buttons accordingly. The same applies for shadows, gradient and other boxes and columns.
