Clickfunnels 2.0 - A Brutally Honest Review

ClickFunnels 2.0, released in October 2022 allows users to build almost anything from scratch. Considered a revolutionary new platform, this updated version of ClickFunnels 1.0 is said to transform the way you approach marketing and manage your business. Sounds intriguing right, especially if you’re hoping to optimize your ROI.

Is ClickFunnels 2.0 good?

Before you go ahead and sign up, here is a brutally honest review of ClickFunnels 2.0, highlighting the pros & cons, and things that, in my opinion, need work. And just a quick note, this ClickFunnels review is not sponsored and is my 100% genuine opinion of this software.

3 Pros Of ClickFunnels 2.0

Admittedly I’ve used ClickFunnels software to generate over 500 sales funnels, but over time I do have concerns about the software. But before we get into that, here’s what I believe makes ClickFunnels 2.0 well worth the investment.

Looking at the update, I can see that there have been a lot of changes made to improve the overall appearance of the sales funnels users can build. You can adjust the gradient of the layers as well as additional features such as a text glow to make titles more impactful. And nothing has been built with CSS; in fact, it’s all built in the editor, making it super user-friendly.

1. All In One

This is one of their best selling points. They have managed to combine the blog, the sales funnels, the website, emails, and the CRM, making everything easy to access from one place. And by doing so, they are going to be saving business owners a serious amount of time. And this is something a lot of companies are starting to implement. You can see this being offered by Kickpages and Systeme for instance.

2. Performance

As you’re probably already aware, page load speed is a key Google ranking factor, and this is something that ClickFunnels 2.0 has made a priority. The new software helps you to create funnels that load much faster, improving your own experience when using the platform, and this will filter through to your audience too.

3. Community

Then you have the community of business owners that ClickFunnels 2.0 provides. As a funnel agency owner, this is a massive advantage as I can find clients who need a sales funnel, and I can pitch my services and level of experience directly to these leads. And I can also develop a personal brand within this community, positioning myself as an industry expert to generate even more opportunity and business growth.

3 Cons Of ClickFunnels 2.0

Now, let’s move on to the negatives. While this is a ClickFunnels review focused on the new update, the cons cover the software as a whole.

1. Perception

The look and feel of the software need improvement, in our opinion. There are a lot of elements that just feel outdated, which can put a lot of users off the software completely. So rather than appealing to the same audience as Shopify or Wix, ClickFunnels is almost limiting its business growth.

2. Old Themes

Although we do realize that a lot of the themes that feel outdated are from when the company first launched, we’d like to see them removed and new ones added to their collection. We need to see innovative designs and cutting-edge themes to give our sales funnels the best possible chance of success.

3. Communication

People have been reaching out to me directly regarding the software update and the launch date, rather than directing these questions to ClickFunnels. And this gives me the impression that they’re just not getting business communication right at the moment. If they were to provide let’s say, an estimated timeline to their audience, this would probably improve this issue, but right now, the lack of transparency could be harming their reputation within the sales funnel community.

Where Improvements Can Be Made

When you compare ClickFunnels 2.0 to Wix (4.5 million paying subscribers) or Squarespace (3.79 million paying subscribers in 2021), it’s clear that there is huge potential for ClickFunnels to gain millions of subscribers. But what improvements should be made in order toto achieve this?

To answer this question, you need to look at the most successful and popular page builders and find out why people are drawn to them. Generally, the reasons are:

● The page builder is easy to use with plenty of tutorials and resources.

● The platform looks professional which helps to build trust.

● They are affordable for most businesses and start-ups.

Which just a few simple changes, I believe ClickFunnels 2.0 has the potential to grow to 1 million users based on its product alone.
